 Before you start to look at any homes you need to find out how much home you are qualified to buy. If you haven’t already met with a lender then you need to make that your next step. Once you know what you can afford to buy you need to decide how much you really want to spend. Remember that a house is more than a monthly mortgage payment. There are taxes, insurance, maintenance and “emergency” repair funds to consider. Consider all of your lifestyle and make sure you factor this information into your monthly costs.
